We Do Not Outsource our Website Design or SEO service to Offshore Companies
On an average day we receive approx 12 requests from offshore companies offering Us the opportunity to outsource part or all of our SEO or website design services. They claim to have read our website in great detail and see an opportunity for a business relationship. I find this quite annoying mainly because, Our website states very clearly on the “contact” page, that we Do Not outsource any part our SEO or Design services, including both on-page and off-page requirements.
The reason that we do not outsource offshore is based simply around our business model. We offer a professional service to UK companies, which require us to employ highly skilled and trained consultant engineers, who understand UK business and the various UK market sectors. This enables us to add value to the SEO and Design services provided to our Clients.
Firstly I see outsourcing offshore as a cheap alternative to employing highly trained and experience UK based staff. Cheap labour usually converts to low quality workmanship, which is something that will not help Us or our Clients.
Secondly the UK economy is in a pretty bad state at the moment, and the lack of jobs in the UK doesn’t help. As a small business owner I would rather pay a decent salary to a UK person than employ an offshore company. My profit margins may suffer slightly, but long term I will be helping in a small way to increase the growth of the UK economy. I also think that cheap Offshore labour providing the UK with Products and Services will eventually start costing us all more, than we believe that we are saving.
The UK needs a steady job market to enable growth and stability. The large UK corporate companies need to reconsider their offshore strategies and re-invest into the UK and the people that they need to buy their goods and services! No Job – No Money – No Purchase – No Business.
Effective Search Engine Optimization requires extensive knowledge and commitment. Through our experience gained over many years, we have found that websites that provide Quality, Unique and Informative content, designed for Human visitors will rank well on the SERP’s and produce high conversion rates. An optimized design structure when used with thematically related back links from trusted sites, also negates the need for 1000s of poor quality, unrelated back links and reduces the chances of being penalised by the search engines.
